No-Bake Protein Balls

Plate of no-bake protein balls

These protein balls double as a snack and treat—and they’re perfect for when you’re on the move or jonesing for dessert. The added dates offer fiber and nutrients like potassium and magnesium, making them excellent for post-workout recovery. The flaxseed also offers healthy Omega-3 fatty acids, and the oats offer an additional fiber punch.

Nutrition: Depending on final size, about 10g protein per ball, 150 calories, fiber, healthy fats.

Ingredients

1 cup dates, pitted

¼ cup plant protein powder

½ cup peanut butter

½ cup rolled oats

2 tbsp flaxseed

2 tbsp cacao powder

½ tsp vanilla

How to make: Process the pitted dates until a paste forms. Fold in the peanut butter, protein powder, cup oats, flaxseed, cacao powder, and vanilla, and process until fully combined. Roll the mixture into small balls (about the size of a large gumball) and place on a cookie sheet. Refrigerate.
